My name is KARINA. I am an Indonesian artist based in Singapore. I've found that for as long as I can remember I've been either picking up a pencil, cutting up bits of paper, or smothering my hands with paint.

I am also an aspiring video game concept artist.

Most of my original art takes place in the form of a story. I have always been captivated by stories told in film, books, and videogames. Especially when the stories are able to challenge the rules their mediums have set up for them. I plan, and strive, to do the same.

There is nothing more in the world I love more than creating. When I am not bringing ideas into life, I am most likely being inspired by the things I love most in the world.

I have always believed that art not only tells a story of the society it was conceived in, but also that art is the driving force in shaping that society. Therefore, my philosophy has always been to take inspiration from changes around me, and in turn inspire change.

My love for art has inspired me to continue evolving. I am never content with my artwork and it gives me the hubris I need to be better, technically and creatively.
